Which countries does Tasmania trade with?

Tasmania mainly deals with Pacific rim countries. The state maintains a good current account balance, exporting goods of a much greater value than it imports (the maximum amount imported from any one country was A$43 million, compared to one export destination worth A$432 million).

Countries Tasmania imports most from are Canada, Japan, United States, Singapore and New Zealand. Most exports go to Japan, United States, Malaysia, Indonesia and Taiwan.
