There are many fine accommodation establishments throughout Tasmania, including members of international chains such as Federal's Wrest Point Casino and the Hotel Grand Chancellor (formerly the Hobart Sheraton). Tasmanian accommodation caters for every taste, from luxury suites to backpacker hostels. Becoming increasingly popular are "bed & breakfasts" or "B&B's", which offer a quality and reasonably-priced place to stay with a home-style atmosphere. To give a very approximate idea, luxury hotels can cost up to A$140-A$200 per night, hotels and motels around A$60-A$70 per night, and B&B's around A$40- A$60 per night. The number of accommodation providers in the state is so large, it is not possible to even give a partial listing. It is suggested that you use the online yellow pages to search for places to stay in a specific city/town. Popular reasonably priced hotel chains are Best Western and Choice (both worldwide chains) and Innkeepers (Tasmanian chain which manages reservations for some of the higher end accommodation including Cradle Mountain Lodge).
